The Lopez family came to Alaska in the late 1940′s, originally settling in Fairbanks and then later in the community of Valdez as commercial fishermen. Tune in as Tillie, Tim and Eric tell their stories from the 1964 Earthquake, helping to build the Trans Alaska Pipeline, experiences cleaning up the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill in 1989, living in a religious cult in Southeast Alaska, among many other stories from Alaska’s past.
